As you try different efficiency and conservation methods wouldn't
it be good to know your meter reading more frequently than once
a month when your bill arrives? In this video, LP&L will show
you how to read your meter to determine if your efforts are paying
off and give you the ability to check your usage before you have
to take time to call or visit LP&L. Please never touch an electric
meter and never stick your hand in a water meter box for your safety.

After you view the video and know more about
reading your meter, try and read your meter the
day you get your bill. Your meter was read
by LP&L within the past couple of days, so your
reading should be really close to the reading on
your bill. If your unsure where to look on
your bill, look for Service Totals on page two of
your bill and then look for Electric Consumption.
Your reading should be really close to the Electric
Consumption reading on your bill.
