Power & Light Is Coming To You
(Lubbock,
TX)
– Beginning Friday October 9, 2009 Lubbock Power & Light (LP&L)
customers will be able to pay their bill using cash or money order at 27
different Western Union Pay Station locations located in Lubbock.
In addition to very popular bank
draft and e-payment abilities, LP&L expects this new payment option to
be valued by their customers.
Many of the locations where customers will now be able to pay
their bill are at locations customers visit frequently like United
Supermarkets and Lowe’s Supermarkets.
Chris Sims with LP&L said,
“We are pleased to offer this new payment option to our customers.
Even though there is a $1 dollar
convenience fee, many of our cash and money order customers have told us
that the $1 fee is much cheaper than what they spend on the gas they use
to travel to existing payment locations.”
Approximately one quarter or 22,000 customers pay their bill with
cash or money order each month at the LP&L Main and Branch Business
Offices. LP&L expects many
of these customers will appreciate saving gas and time by being able to
pay their bill at 27 different locations in Lubbock
in addition to the Main and Branch Offices.
To learn more about LP&L’s 7 different payment options and the 27 new
payment centers, customer can click on the Payment Options link at
